SurpriseMe is a website designed to allow people to place public messages to surprise, announce, congratulate and thank others. |

In a nutshell the rules are to ensure that the messages placed are in english, not offensive to others and that they are appropriate for children to view.
They should also be designed with the purpose of the site in mind, therefore they should be messages to surprise, announce, congratulate and thank others.

What are the costs? |

With the introductory offer, the prices range from £1.49 for 1 week placement to £2.99 for a four week placement. There is the option to add a gallery of photos this currently costs an additional £0.99. |

What is the difference between a message and a comment? |
| A. |
A message is the main announcement for someone, whether it is a birthday, greeting, etc..
On the message there is a section that allows other people to add a comments to the message. The comment could be a birthday wish, greeting, a hello, ...
These comments are displayed on a comments page attached to the main message. |

How long do the messages stay on the site? |

There is the option to place messages for 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks or 4 weeks. Also messages can be resubmitted to increase the length of display.
Please note that the messages end at midnight on the last day of placement. |

How can other people I know place a comment? |
| A. |
If you placed the original message, then you can invite other people to add comments prior to the message being active (public viewing).
To invite new people, go to the ‘My Account’ section and click on ‘Select action’ under the picture and choose the option to 'Invite guests'. This will lead you to a page were you type the name and email address of the person/people you want to invite.

What kind of pictures can I upload? |

Obviously no rude or nude pictures can be uploaded as this is a family site and is intended to be viewed by both adults and children.
If you are uploading picture(s) from your own computer please make sure that you are the owner of those pictures(s). These can be photographs, scanned in pictures, or pictures you have created.
But, if you did not take the photograph/create the picture or are unable to say where the image came from then please do not upload it. Most pictures found on the internet or obtained from other sources are copyrighted and cannot be used without permission from the owner. |
